To provide the best quality finished products we first have to start with the best quality components. The core component of our open patios and our leisure decks is the, Hunter Douglas “Shade Master” pre -finished insulated roofing panel. Unlike “single skin” roofing products, for example, Spanline, Space Span, Stratco Outback and Apollo, which rely on a high level of gloss finish on the top side of the roof to “try” and minimize a high level of radiated heat, (when compared to an insulated roofing product), the foam core in the Shade Master insulated roofing product allows for no discernable radiated heat at all.

In addition, where practicable, all the steel RHS components of our products is powder coated DURAGAL RHS. The benefits of powder coating are 3 fold, firstly, it is much less expensive than painting, secondly, apart from the occasional wipe down it requires virtually no on going maintenance, and thirdly, it’s much harder wearing than traditional paint finishes.

In addition to this all the bolts used in the construction process are stainless steel, and all the screws are class 3 zinc coated products.

All the flashings and guttering used are color bond steel and can usually be matched to your existing colors and profiles.

We offer a 6.5 year structural warranty on all our products and the roof panel it's self is warranted by the manufacturer for 10 years.

Insulmax Insulated Roof Panel Specifications

WIDTH: 580mm width allows ease of handling. THICKNESS: Available in 55mm, 90mm to suit application (for strength and insulation). LENGTH: "Made to order" up to a maximum of 9 Meters. In addition to the specified length, the panel is manufacturer with a 'standard' right hand overhang (cut-back) of 50mm on top skin. Left hand overhand is also available if required. MATERIAL: Top and bottom skins are 0.42 Steel G550 S20AZ150. The core comprises EPS (closed cell expanded polystyrene) form, which is modified by the addition of flame retardant additives. It is bonded, under pressure, to the top and bottom skins with specially formulated adhesives to give strength and durability.
